A Pastry Chef in Training

I began my adventures to becoming a pastry chef at Tante Marie’s Cooking School, http://tantemarie.com/, in North Beach San Francisco CA on September 28th, 2009. The class is an intimate setting of 15 students. 14 of which are women and 1 is a man. We each wear white chef’s coats with our names embroidered over our hearts and Tante Marie on our right sleeve accompanied by white aprons and black/white checkered pants. With my hair swept back, food scale in hand and my mind absorbing our teacher’s instructions, I am ready to create many works of art.
